I have literally, never, and I mean never, seen wagon as big as the bandwagon we’re living in right now. This is the bandwagon generation I’ve feared. If you should think otherwise, you’re probably already driving the wagon.
To you, that’s not quite following what I mean, I refer to the “bandwagon effect”: One does everybody does it - they jump on the wagon, bandwagon. The real source to this, is the social media. Everything today is too transparent, you really need to keep your cards close to your hand.
I see on a daily basis, people constantly trying to follow other peoples footsteps, whether they capable of filling out the footprints or not. The issue is, if these footsteps wasn’t visible to them, where should they go, or, even start? If they weren’t able to follow a trace, all they’ll see is a dead end.
Today, with social media, any one is trying to look like they are ahead of the trace, either because the person who left a trace behind is inspiring and has a certain amount of acknowledgement, they assume they’ll get the same, by either sharing the same interest, pictures, ideas etc. Wrong.
The wagon will run out of fuel, sooner or later, and then you’re left in wilderness. Drive your own.
